Two and Four Valve Charging and Recovery Set-ups

These setups were designed to recover and charge a system with minimal changing of hoses or fittings, they can essentially maximize refrigerant containment.

This is a pretty complicated design. As an engineer myself, I am still having a hard time understanding this design. I am not saying that this is a bad design, what I am saying is that you can probably make it simpler. I am not here to offend you in any way, in fact, I am here to encourage you to do a better job. I do not want you to stress yourself more than you need to be, remember that.
