,I helped install an A.O. Smith boiler with my father when I was about 15, we ran the pipe, wired the controls, set up the zoning, I was fascinated. I worked with my family owned business for several years while going to school, and later with several HVAC contractors and then industrial plant sites. The more I worked in the field, the more I wanted to know.
I wanted to know how refrigeration worked, not just what the proper gauge reading might be on a hot summer day, but what drove those numbers to be displayed? Thus began a life long journey looking for answers, the books are some of what I have learned, along the way, and placed in texts to hopefully help others in pursuit of understanding refrigeration.
